Hey Fabmates,

As I was about to go out, I realised my hair was a mess and decided to cover it up. I grabbed an old scarf and lo and behold I had a turban(or just something like it) on. It’s definitely not the best I’ve seen but it saved the day. It wasn’t planned, it came to me out of nowhere and I took some pictures. Here is my turban-like look.

Top: Primark-I’ve had this printed top for almost 2 years

Earring and Ring: H&M

The scarf actually came with a River Island jeans (like a belt thingy that runs through the belt holes).

Jeans: Tommy Hilfiger

Hello Fabmates,

I mentioned sometime ago how my look is never complete without a ring or rings. Oh yeah, so I decided to do a lil piece about my rings.

Here’s my box of rings, they range from H&M to Smart set to Accessorize to Primark. Some of the ones I got from my last trip to Canada, I havn’t even worn yet.

This is a set of  4, sometimes I wear 3 or just 2 of the set depending on my mood.
This black one I wear a lot, maybe cos t’s black
And while I was taking the pictures it was about to rain and heres what the sky looked like.

Since colours are so in, I put together some outfits that are bright enough to make us smile through the day. It’s Summer in most parts of the world. Here it’s almost always Summer, aint we lucky? Enough of my blabbing, lets get to the pictures.

I call this Summer's finest

There are 2 looks here:
1. A printed girly girl dress with belt, yellow hand bag and flats with sunglasses and colourful bracelets.
2. A pink blouse, pink ankle flats, pink neck wrap/piece and killer shorts (if you have got “the legs” ) or cargo pants (if you’re not comfy with the shorts). The shorts makes more sense though*wink*

ALDO wedges. Is that made from Ankara print or what? Yes, it is.

This wedges could also work with the shorts look.

PROA purse

This purse can also go with the dress and maybe heels for a more dressy occassion.

Here is a perfect dress for a tall woman

I have some fashion tips here from Me to you.

Here they are.

Number 1 rule is *drum roll*- Know your body type. Yes, this is very important. If you have this all important information, all other things SHOULD follow easily, emphasis on “should” cos some people still don’t get it right even though they are aware of their body types.

1. Show off the trimmest parts of your body by combining a tight fitting piece with a loose fitting one.

2. The darker a print’s background, the slimmer the look.

3. A slim v- neck makes the neck appear longer and is  usually flattering.

4. It doesn’t matter if seperates don’t match exactly. Tonal variations are a creative alternative.

Lastly, there’s no excuse for panty lines!!! A thong is a girl’s best friend. Some ladies claim that thongs get stuck between their butts, then knickers(thin ones) is a good option in this case.

Let me get a few bites now, catch ya all later.

PS: I lost a friend to Ovarian Cancer yesterday. Ladies, please get a pap smear test done(and all other necessary tests). These things can be managed if detected early enough. God bless

It’s been a while since I posted, four days to be exact.

I attended a wedding today….I love weddings, who doesn’t? Here are some pictures of Me.

The jacket was designed by me and made by MOA (she also added a few jara), she’s a designer based here in Abuja, Nigeria(she’s super hot).

Jacket: MOA (Abuja based Designer), Pants: Collectibles

Shoes : New Look, Purse: H&M

Ring: H & M, Nail Polish: MAC

I love this jacket cos it’s so colourful (yellow, green, brown, red), it pops. Colours are so in now. The patched jacket is made from four different African prints.
I paired it with a yellow purse which brings out the colours more, straight black pants, black gladiator shoes (I love them). Though the shoes are high, they are very comfy. I have a black flower cocktail ring on-these rings make you look chic.

Mtv Movie Awards has come and gone. Now lets check out the “Ups” and “Flops”, the “Yikes” and “Likes”.

All pictures courtesy

She gets a "Up" and a "Like". Love the bandage dress and the contrasting shoes.

Simple but Hot, "Up" n "Like". Those legs are to die for.

"Emma Stone"

Not liking this so much, I don't like the purse but overall, not bad.

"Emma Watson"

She always manages to look sweet and innocent. Love, love, love d shoes.

Hailee Steinfeld

This gets a "Flop" and "Yike" from me, sorry.

Flop- this looks like a maternity gown. Her skin tone also doesn't complement the dress. Oh, oops it's a maternity gown.

Don't we just love our fav twilighter. She's showing legs n arms. HAWT

Oh thank God she lost the pink hair. This is actually very ok by Nicki's standard, if u know what I mean.

Not bad but I'm a lil dissappointed. She's usually more daring than this.

My View: All in all, I think a lot of people played safe @ the MTV Movie Awards this year. Let’s push the envelope people.
